Green pink AND grey?!?

my mom says i can paint my room but i share a room with my twin sister and we want overlapping squares and we need 3 colors i wanted hot pink dark grey and dark purple but she wanted hot pink turquoise and orange so my mom said we get hot pink and then we each pick one more color and i picked dark grey and she wants neon green but she keeps saying it wont look good with grey and i say it wouldn't look good with green. can you please say if it would look good or which color we should get rid of?
